Artificial intelligence has become such a popular topic in recent years that it might even feel a bit overused. Nevertheless, more and more people are using various AI tools to simplify everyday tasks, although not everyone pays attention to the mistakes being made.
It’s important not only to learn how to use such tools but also to understand that AI still doesn’t write like a human, and its formulaic phrases are unlikely to impress readers. Social media profiles that share AI-generated posts might, in the future, see decreased follower engagement and trust, says Paulina Zinkevičiūtė, a junior project manager at our agency.
The most common mistakes when using AI-generated posts on social media:
– Capitalizing Every Word in post titles and hashtags. This is one of the easiest ways to spot an AI-generated post.
– Using repetitive AI-generated phrases in the text, such as “I am thrilled to announce…” or “In today’s world…”
– Placing emojis in the same spots within posts. 🎉 AI often highlights the first sentence of a text with emojis like these 🌟.
– Writing lengthy but hollow texts. AI is excellent at creating long texts, but without sufficient information, it tends to repeat the same ideas using different words.
While AI is improving every day, it still cannot replace human thinking, creativity, and sensitivity to context. After all, writing is not enough—you need to understand what is important to your readers and the emotional tone that prevails in various situations.
